Udder Chaos: A Children’s Book Inspired by County Fair Adventures

About the Book

Udder Chaos is a laugh-out-loud, rhyming children’s picture book inspired by real county fair adventures. When a group of dairy cows breaks loose at the fair, chaos quickly follows. From riding carnival rides to sliding where they should not, these mischievous cows turn an ordinary fair day into a full-blown barnyard spectacle.

Written with playful rhythm and humor, Udder Chaos keeps young readers engaged while offering plenty of moments that adults will enjoy too. The story celebrates imagination, curiosity, and the joy found in everyday rural life, making it a perfect read-aloud for families, classrooms, and libraries.

With lively illustrations and a fast-moving storyline, Udder Chaos appeals to a wide range of ages and is especially well-suited for children who love animals, fairs, and silly surprises. Inspired by authentic 4-H and county fair experiences, the book brings a familiar Midwest tradition to life in a fun and unforgettable way.

About the illustrator

About the Illustrator

Keegan Clapp is a young illustrator from Delta, Ohio, whose creativity and love of rural life bring a distinctive energy to the Udder Chaos series. At just 14 years old when the first book was published, Udder Chaos marked Keegan’s very first illustration project, making his work a true debut in children’s publishing.

Keegan’s illustrations are inspired by everyday experiences growing up in Fulton County, including life on the farm and time spent at the county fair. When he’s not drawing, he enjoys farming, golfing, and walking his dairy cow, Fulton, around the county fairgrounds. That firsthand connection to fair life adds authenticity, humor, and heart to the illustrations readers love.

Through this collaboration, My World Press proudly highlights its commitment to supporting young creators and giving student artists meaningful opportunities to see their work published, celebrated, and shared with readers far beyond their local community.
